We tried the Misura Fibrextra line with 100% wholemeal flour, fruit and vegetables

Whole foods satisfy our craving for carbohydrates by benefiting the body and mood. They are rich in fiber and keep the sense of hunger under control thanks to the slow release of energy. And when it comes to tasty wholemeal products with an innovative formula, they are an even more positive experience for the senses and the emotional dimension.

A new integral concept has finally arrived on the market, which combines the fibers of cereals, those of fruit and vegetables, at the base of some products of the line Integral Fibrextra of Measure. They are tasty for the palate, inviting thanks to their natural color and perfect for supporting a lifestyle oriented towards wellness.

Thus, the new ones were born Fibrextra croissants with 100% wholemeal flour rich in fiber from fruit, vegetables and cereals where both the fillings and the pasta are naturally colored by the fruit and vegetables: a croissant Fibrextra “viola” with berries, beetroot and grapes, and a croissant Fibrextra “orange” with pumpkin, carrot and orange. Needless to say, we’ve tested them both!

The choice of associating fruit such as berries, grapes and oranges with vegetables such as beetroot, pumpkin and carrot makes the croissants pleasantly sweet, ideal to eat for breakfast or as a snack. Deciding which is our favorite of the two flavors is difficult, but we can advise you to be guided either by the ingredients that tickle your palate the most, or by the color (absolutely natural) that has the most effect on your taste buds!

Both variants are prepared with soft 16-hour leavened puff pastry with mother yeast and with fresh Italian eggs from free-range hens, do not contain hydrogenated fats, color additives and preservatives, and are palm oil free. The outer packaging is made 100% with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified paper, coming from responsibly managed forest supply chains and each package contains 30% less plastic than the previous packaging, for the good of the planet.

We also tried the new one cracker Fibrextra “viola” with beetroot and black carrot. It is not the usual wholemeal, but a wholemeal rich in fiber from vegetables and cereals and with an inviting and totally natural color, given only by the ingredients used. Prepared with 100% wholemeal flour from the supply chain, it contains 15% fiber, is rich in iodine, is without dyes and preservatives and has 50% less saturated fat than the average of the best-selling crackers (source: www.misura. it).

We appreciated him for his delicate flavor. Excellent as a snack or to accompany summer salads. Its purple color also has a therapeutic effect on mood. In chromotherapy, purple is considered a relaxing nuance, also able to regulate appetite.
