Israel’s armed forces are vowing to respond to deadly Hezbollah rocket attacks in the country’s north. “Hezbollah rockets killed 7 innocent civilians inside Israel on Thursday. We will not let Hezbollah’s deadly attacks go unanswered,” the IDF said in an unusual English-language post on X. Earlier, the IDF’s Arabic-speaking spokesman, Col. Avihai Andrai, called on civilians near buildings used by Hezbollah in Nabatieh of southern Lebanon, to leave immediately before the airstrikes. About 90 rockets were fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon into northern Israel on Thursday, according to an IDF count. Five men were killed in a rocket strike in a field near Metula, and a mother and son were killed in another strike in a grove near Haifa.
