“We will not respond only diplomatically” – Russia and China warn of possible installation of US missiles in Japan

Russia and China warned the US not to install US missiles in Japan, because in that case there would be a response, but it would not be diplomatic. Specifically, the Japan Times reported on September 7 that the United States had expressed interest in deploying a Typhoon medium-range missile system to Japan for joint military exercises. The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia and China will react, and not only politically, if the United States deploys missiles in Japan. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed in May to deepen what they described as “comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation” for a new era. Source: RES
