The governor of the BOE, Bailey, adopts a cautiously neutral tone
“The comments of the governor of the BOE, Bailey, are generating a risk of short -term holders and can be characterized as cautiously neutral, with an approach to the short -term risk of inflation balanced with the medium and long term concerns about the perspectives of the United Kingdom labor market. Fundamentally, the differential differentials between the United Kingdom and the US are offering support to the GBP/USD.”
“The GBP/USD is in a clear bullish trend with a sequence of several months of higher and higher minimums after its recovery of its January minimum around 1.22. Its last impulse has exceeded new maximums of several years and its momentum remains bullish, but well below overlying levels, leaving wide margin for more profits.”
