‘Wednesday’ could have a second season and this is what we know

With only eight chapters, a dark photography and an incredible protagonist, wednesday (Wednesday) has been positioned as one of the most successful series on Netflix and no wonder, as it has that touch of black humor, modernism and terror that characterizes Tim Burton, director of said project.

The series that follows in the footsteps of Merlina Addams during adolescence is taking the world by storm. It is therefore not surprising that the fans are already asking for a second season, which producer Miles Millar says could be possible.

wednesday follows the relationship of the Addams family, their secrets, problems and the adolescent stage of Merlina, who, after attacking her classmates to defend her brother Pericles, is sent to a boarding school for rejected mermaids, werewolves and witches.

Merlina, played by Jenna Ortega, has mysterious visions that allow her to discover the strange events that occur in the town near her school, as well as secrets that include a murder and her father, Homer Addams.

With this plot, it is not surprising that the series is a success. In fact, Miles Millar, producer of the Showhas revealed that there could be a second installment in which you can delve a little deeper into the Addams family tradition.

We feel like we just scratched the surface with those characters and the actors are amazing in those roles. The relationship between Wednesday and Morticia is also essential to the show and the idea that Wednesday is trying to carve out her own path outside of the family is important. I definitely want to introduce the family like we did this season in a couple episodes if we had a second season.

However, at the moment, Netflix executives have not confirmed a second installment.
