The weather will be pretty erratic across the Southeast this week, according to the weather forecast.
THE CNN Radio Climatempo meteorologist Maria Clara Sassaki highlighted that this Monday brings the expectation of “a lot of rain, at any moment.”
This happens mainly in the southern half of Minas Gerais, close to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and the Triângulo Mineiro.
“It will be intermittent until Thursday, causing flooding and landslides,” he said.
In Rio and in a good part of São Paulo, including the capital, the week should be raining “in the afternoon”, which can also cause inconvenience.
In the South Region, there is little chance of rain in Rio Grande do Sul, which will have firm weather, and, if there are instabilities, they will be “isolated and without large accumulations.”
“Until Wednesday, Santa Catarina and Paraná may have heavy rains, with a risk of disturbances, especially in the Itajaí Valley.”
The weather will also be unstable in the Midwest, with more humid weather.
Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul should have rain at any time, while Goiás and the Federal District in the afternoon.
The temperature will be muggy, around 30 degrees.
The Northeast will also be hot, especially in Bahia, “with little chance of rain”, as well as on the east coast of the region, from Sergipe to Rio Grande do Norte, according to Sassaki.
“However, the north of Brazil should receive a good amount of water, with the possibility of disturbances, the only thing that doesn’t rain in Roraima”, he added.
