Welcome to the OC, Bitches: the new podcast on the Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke series

One of our favorite dreams is that the producers of The O.C finally decide to answer our prayers and announce an upcoming reboot of the series.

For now, we don’t know if this will happen or not, but in the meantime Rachel Bilson e Melinda Clarke they came to the rescue of us fans and they made a podcast, named after Welcome to The O.C, bitches, completely dedicated to the world of Orange County.

Our Summer e Julie, practically, they will make a nice all-season rewatch of The O.C and, in each episode of the podcast, they will comment on what they saw together with some guests – screenwriters, colleagues of the cast, costume designers and other figures who contributed to the realization of the series – and will also reveal some anecdotes of those days. “It will be great to review the episodes: a little journey through time thanks to which I will be able to tell my experience and relive all those funny moments with the people who worked with me”, he explained Bilson.

If you think about it, it’s the best rewatch session ever. Not only do we immerse ourselves again in the events of Ryan, Seth, Summer e Marissa, but we can also count on the comments of two of the main protagonists and feast on curiosities and behind-the-scenes news that we have completely ignored so far. “The O.C represented a milestone for our culture – he underlined Colin Thompson, ceo of Closet Media, the company that produces the podcast – and with this show we want to celebrate this by organizing the watch party that everyone was dreaming of ». And how to blame him?

The episodes will be available on some platforms – which ones have not yet been announced – and on YouTube starting from April 27th. We don’t know how many episodes are planned or how long each of them will last, but if there is a virtue that we fans of The O.C it’s patience, so a few more days and we’ll find out everything.

I don’t know about you, but I already hear my thoughts in the background: California, California, here we comeeee. What a hype!
