West Bank: Eight killed in yesterday's raid by the Israeli army in Jenin

The Palestinian Authority announced yesterday, Tuesday, the death of eight Palestinians in an Israeli army raid in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, where the army said it was conducting an operation against armed groups of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. “There is an eighth witness in the occupation forces' ongoing operation in Jenin,” the Palestinian Authority's health ministry said in a brief statement on Telegram. Earlier yesterday, the ministry had spoken of seven dead and many injured, two of whom are in a critical condition. Last night, the Palestinian Red Crescent indicated that one of its ambulances had come under Israeli fire in Jenin while trying to provide aid to a wounded man. Yesterday an AFP journalist saw the bodies of four people killed during the Israeli raid on Jenin, a stronghold of Palestinian armed groups, located in the northern part of the West Bank.
