Hard drives are designed for a variety of devices, including AI-enabled network video recorders (NVRs), video analytics servers, storage arrays, and more.
Advantages of WD Purple Pro hard drives include advanced AI AllFrame technology, which can record video streams from 64 HD cameras while simultaneously processing up to 32 additional streams for AI functions, whether the cameras are connected directly to recorders or to cloud servers.
The drives are designed for high workloads (up to 550 TB per year). They are offered in sizes from 8 TB to 18 TB. The HDD comes with a five-year warranty.
The WD Purple family also includes 1TB WD Purple microSD cards and 1TB to 8TB WD Purple hard drives.
