Western Digital has unveiled a new brand of premium storage solutions SanDisk Professional. According to the manufacturer, the new brand offers products “specially created for creators and professionals”.
The SanDisk Professional line will include 16 modular solutions that are characterized by “professional-grade performance and enterprise-class reliability,” including:
PRO-CINEMA CFexpress VPG400 are brand new CFexpress memory cards for video recording, delivering speeds of at least 400 MB / s for today’s videography, broadcast and film production requirements.
PRO-READER series – four new PRO-READER devices equipped with a USB-C port that supports 10 Gbps. They are designed to work with the latest and most common media, including CFast, CFexpress, RED Mini-Mag, CF, microSD and SD cards.
PRO-DOCK 4 is a 4-bay dock for devices for working with memory cards, which allows you to significantly speed up your workflow when shooting with multiple cameras.
New 4TB G-DRIVE ArmorLock Encrypted SSD with NVMe support. It will be available alongside a line of portable G-DRIVE drives, enterprise-grade Ultrastar desktop hard drives, and G-RAID and G-RAID SHUTTLE portable storage – now with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C support.
All of these new items are expected to be available this summer.
