What apps do Russians spend the most time on?

Mediascope, commissioned by Forbes, conducted a study in which it calculated the average time spent by Russians in the 100 most popular mobile applications. We took into account the data of users from 12 years old for the last six months – from August 2021 to January 2022.

It turned out that Russians spent most of their time playing PUBG Mobile: Aftermath (91 minutes a day). Its audience per day is 875 thousand people. In second place is the YouTube Kids application, a special version of the popular video hosting with entertainment content (mainly cartoons and educational videos) for children. On average, Russians spent 85 minutes a day here, and the daily audience of the service is more than 629 thousand people. In third place is the standard YouTube app. Russian users spent an average of 82 minutes a day on it, but YouTube has the largest audience, which exceeds 33.7 million people a day. Rounding out the top five are the social networking app TikTok (81 minutes a day) with an audience of 25 million people and the puzzle game Empires & Puzzles (74 minutes a day) with a daily audience of 657,000 people.

The top ten applications where Russians hang out the longest also include a lite version of TikTok, the games World of Tanks Blitz, Standoff 2 and Fishdom: Deep Dive from the Russian studio Playrix.
