There is new information about the ultra-budget car Lada Granta Classic Light, which will become the most affordable version of the popular car, initially for the Ukrainian market. The car should be made by Lada.
Earlier it was reported that the air conditioning system and multimedia and entertainment system will be removed from the car. However, the cuts will not end there. Also, Lada Granta Classic Light will not have an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and a brake force distribution system (Electronic brakeforce distribution, EBD). The car will not receive power windows, fog lights and a full heating system.
It is reported that after all these manipulations, the car will fall in price from 243 thousand hryvnia (at the moment the cheapest version of Lada Granta costs in Ukraine) to about 180 thousand hryvnia. Or from 655 to 485 thousand rubles.
The basic Ukrainian version of Lada Granta is equipped with a 1.6-liter 87-horsepower engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
