What if Barbara D’Urso wasn’t (really) downsized?

It seemed certain: Barbara D’Urso orphan of her programs, relegated to increasingly shriveled spaces up to a possible purge from the schedule in autumn. Instead, according to what D’Urso herself says, it is only rumors and gossips. During the last appointment of Afternoon Five, aired on Canale 5 on 10 June, the presenter in fact explained to her audience that they will meet again in the first days of September: “We will always be with you all season “, promised D’Urso wrapped in her pink blouse, happy to celebrate that one of the stories followed during the year by her program – a lady who paid the bills for a council house that was actually still in the works – ended with a happy ending.

“We are happy. Thanks to the institutions that always respond to our appeals, the important thing is to always think positively because sooner or later the sky looks, always and in any case “, Barbara D’Urso said, referring, perhaps between the lines, also to her destiny and to those who have rowed against her in recent months, talking about the ever-growing dissatisfaction that the Mediaset top management would have had for her style, which went a little too far over the past few years. The definitive reservation will be dissolved on June 29, when the Biscione will announce the next schedules and we will find out what will happen to the presenter, even if all this chatter seems to teach us one thing: how much the fans can lose the sense of reality to the point of wanting someone to purge.

Like it or not, Barbara D’Urso is a tireless professional who, in the last decade, has managed to guarantee the company a stable audience and a good advertising response in the face of programs created with minimal expenditure. The thing he could have worked on could have been his way of introducing himself to the public and leaving his mark on television: in such a delicate phase, to say, a small step back it would certainly have helped her, perhaps retracing the same steps as her friend Mara Venier who, before returning to Rai1 and Sunday In from the main door, he chose the most shadowed path of the columnist and the judge. Regardless of how the next schedule unfolds, this subtraction may not be such a bad solution for the presenter.
