A video showing a child almost being kidnapped made its rounds on social media this Friday (22). The case happened on Wednesday morning (20), in the Limão neighborhood, north of São Paulo.
In the images, you can see a woman walking hand in hand with a child. At one point, a man in a black tank top approaches the two and appears to start talking to the woman.
Shortly afterwards, an argument begins. This is when the man throws the woman and child to the ground. After the argument, he picks up the child and tries to run away. That’s when another man appears to stop the kidnapping.

The man caught on security cameras must face charges of attempted kidnapping. Police are investigating whether he was under the influence of alcohol when he approached the woman and child
In a statement, the SP Public Security Secretariat confirmed his arrest and that of another suspect. The case continues to be investigated by the 40th DP of SP.
