Veterinarian Fernanda Fazio, ex-wife of mathematics teacher Fernanda Bonin, found dead on April 28, on a vacant lot in Vila da Paz, south of São Paulo, near the Interlagos racetrack, was arrested on Friday, 9, under the suspicion of being the mastermind of the crime.

The report sought the veterinarian’s defense and awaits return. For the police, she did not confess the crime. He preferred to be silent and only talk about court, according to the Civil Police Delegate, Artur Dian.

According to investigations, on April 27, Bonin was attracted by his former partner to Avenida Jaguaré, in the West Zone. Upon arriving at the scene, she was approached by criminals, executed and spawned on a wild land in the region.

His belongings, car (a Hyundai Tucson) and cell phone, were abandoned and located days after the crime, on a street near the race track.

The case was initially registered as murder, but changed to femicide. Investigations were conducted by the State Department of Homicides and Protection of Persons (DHPP) of the State Civil Police.

In all, five people are pointed out of participation in the death of Fernanda Bonin. In addition to Fernanda Fazio, a man, identified as João Paulo Bourquin, was arrested. He appears in monitoring cameras leaving the teacher’s car after the crime. The report could not find his defense.

Two other men, Ivo Rezende dos Santos and Rosemberg Joaquim de Santana are also pointed out as suspected of having direct participation in the teacher’s execution (see the details below) and have open pre -trial detention warrants. The defense of the aforementioned was not found either.

A woman whose identity has not been revealed may also be linked to the crime. Like João Paulo, she was seen by monitoring cameras coming out of the car that was from Bonin, and was abandoned (see the video) the police said they will ask for the arrest of the suspicion. Fernanda Bonin was only found the next day, Monday, 28. The body was signs of strangulation and a shoelaces wrapped around the neck. To attract the former partner, Fizio said his vehicle would have had a problem in the exchange box and needed help.

The teacher went to the scene, but, according to the investigations, was eventually executed by others at the behest of the veterinarian. Police still do not know, exactly, who practiced the crime, but there is evidence that the three men participated in the execution and were at the scene of the incident.

At the moment when a teacher was approached by the criminals, Fernanda Fazio moved to Bonin’s house to take their two children. They had been separated for about a year and the children stayed at the victim’s house.

In a statement to the police last week, he said that the car would have returned to work and went to the ex-wife’s apartment to take the children. For the investigators, she said she only called the police the next day after the school where Bonin taught reported that the professional had not appeared.
