In Brazil, the soap opera “Renascer”, which is being shown on TV Globo, is a remake of the work that aired in 1993.

What is a reboot?

When we talk about a reboot, it is a “reboot” of a story. – which will rescue a universe, characters, but will have a different script. Therefore, it means a new version of a film or series.

The film “The Panthers” (2019) is a reboot of the 1976 series of the same name, which had already been released in the cinema in the 2000s.

In 2022, the series “Gossip Girl” got a reboot with new characters, but in the same universe. Furthermore, the title referred to the original production and the story featured actors from the first plot.
