What queries did Hamster Kombat users search for?

The official launch of the Hamster Kombat token (HMSTR) took place on September 26th. In connection with this event, interest in the clicker game grew steadily, which was reflected in requests on Yandex.

Yandex analysts studied what exactly users wanted to know about the hit among the “sneakers” in Telegram.

“What to do if mom doesn’t want to touch the hamster”

According to the study, 90% of all requests for Hamster Kombat were related to game mechanics. The focus is on the most famous element of the game, which is “tapping” on the hamster.

Users described this action with various verbs, such as “tap”, “poke”, “click”. There were also unusual expressions, for example, “to crush the hamster” or “to squeeze.”

Here are the top 5 verbs that players used to describe the game mechanics:

  • tap – “why tread a hamster”, “what to do if mom doesn’t want to tread a hamster” or “a device to tread a hamster”.
  • Poke – “why is everyone poking the hamster” and “who poked how many coins in the hamster.”
  • Click – “continue the proverb who clicks the hamster” and “fatal cases of clicking a hamster.”
  • Press – “where to click so that the hamster lights up red” and “you click on the hamster and he gives money there.”
  • Stuff – “how to stuff a hamster with three fingers” and “what is important in a hamster – profit per hour or what you stuffed.”

Half of all requests related to the “hamster” also related to the combination of game cards. Users often asked questions like “what cards are in the hamster today.” Another popular topic is the daily morse code cipher.

Interest in the financial aspect of Hamster Kombat was also very noticeable. About 4% of requests were related to the listing of the HMSTR token on crypto exchanges. Many were concerned about the possibility of withdrawing in-game funds. Users were interested in questions such as “when will the hamster listing be available” or “how to cash out money in Hamster Kombat.” Some even tried to find out if the token could be used to pay in stores.

Players were also looking for ways to hack the “slipper” and the consequences of using cheats. Related queries include “download hacked version of hamster clicking” and “ban for auto clicker in Hamster Kombat.”

In addition, users tried to figure out why the Telegram project became so popular. The requests often included questions like “why is everyone tapping on the hamster” or “what is the point of the game Hamster Kombat.”

Interest in Hamster Kombat among Yandex users began to grow at the end of May and reached its peak in June. Back then, every 500th request was dedicated to this game.

Previously, the project team shared plans for the near future. The developers said that they will launch the second season soon. Hamster Kombat will add support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which will be used as additional in-game assets.
