Samsung Electronics is currently gearing up for the upcoming release of its next flagship line. Meanwhile, more and more information about the new Galaxy S22 series appears on the net.

This time, well-known network informant Jon Prosser, editor and creator of the FrontPageTech thematic resource, has published the first live photos of the oldest model in the lineup – the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Photos cannot boast of too good quality, but the device is shown from all sides and even when it is turned on, working condition.

The photos show that the side edges of the smartphone screen will be curved, and flat, as suggested by some sources.

Also confirmed is a dedicated slot for the S-Pen stylus. S-Pen support was introduced in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but the S21 Ultra does not have an S-Pen storage slot.

It is noticeable that for the sake of the stylus slot, the device had to be made quite thick.

The source also confirmed a “not quite updated” camera array on the back:
- 108MP main module
- 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle
- 10 megapixel with telephoto lens and 3x zoom
- 10 megapixel with telephoto lens and 10x zoom
Note that John Prosser was the first to announce the exact dates of the presentation of the new iPhone SE smartphone and the MacBook Pro 13 laptop, and also published many renders of the devices, which were later confirmed by the announcements.
