This method combines two very important elements in psychology: visualization and intention. Simply put, actually visualizing what we want helps us better define our intentions and understand how we can take action to make this happen. In fact, let’s think of the famous lists: one of the things that, according to many experts, helps us achieve our goals is to draw up lists in which we define, based on a time frame that we decide, what we want. We can have life goals, but also annual or just daily.
The 369 method is based on this assumption, but how does it work specifically? It takes place at different times of the day:
In the morning, in a notebook, notebook, PC, smartphone or where it is more convenient for you, write 3 times “what” you want to show: it could be an object, a person or a state of mind. Example? Have you had a fight with a friend of yours and would you like to make up with it? You will write his name three times.
In the afternoon, however, you have to rewrite your intention 6 times, that is, what you want to happen. Finally, in the evening, write 9 times how you want this to manifest. There is no need to be too specific, but you will be able to visualize one way your wish might come true. We can write the sentence in the present or in the past as if it had already happened. Last example: I wrote to tizia and asked her to meet to talk. Repeat this for as many days as you think necessary (some speak of 21, others 30). But after this time it should be easier for you to figure out how to move, how to act and allow things to go a certain way.
