The Vedomosti edition reported on the situation on the video card market in Russia with reference to representatives of several electronics retail chains.
As the interviewed experts expect, the shortage of video cards will be “felt” at least until mid-2021.
According to Maxim Sapunov, head of the “Computer hardware” direction of the Russian AliExpress, in the IV quarter, sales of video cards on AliExpress Russia grew 4.5 times compared to the third quarter.
As a result, in December last year, video cards for personal computers became in short supply in Russia, and the names appearing on sale are sold out “instantly”. High-performance video cards have completely disappeared from the open market.
