The second (highly anticipated) season of Bridgerton is available on Netflix starting March 25, 2022. The protagonist of the second part of the series, based on the novels of Julia Quinn, is the viscount Anthony Bridgerton, in search of the perfect wife, a search that does not imply love. To mess up the cards are the sisters Edwina and Kate Sharma. The eight episodes arrive simultaneously on the platform. And they will be available starting at 8 am on Friday 25 March 2022.
Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the eldest of the Bridgerton brothers and sisters and viscount, is guided by his sense of duty in safeguarding his family name. The search for a debutante who meets her impossible standards seems doomed to fail, until Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) do not come from India. When Anthony begins courting Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of her intentions – true love is not at the top of her priorities – and decides to do everything in her power to prevent their union. But in doing so, the verbal skirmishes between Kate and Anthony only bring them closer and closer, complicating matters for both of them.
Across Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons are to welcome the new heir to their estate, while Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to move for high society by keeping its deepest secret hidden from the people closest to it.
