Huawei will hold a press conference today at which the Huawei P50 series of smartphones will be announced, as well as other hardware innovations from the Chinese giant.
Sources say that at the same event, Huawei is officially announcing a memory expansion program for older Huawei devices that has previously been tested on several older models, including the Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

Probably, the list of smartphone models, the owners of which will be able to increase the memory capacity of their devices, will be expanded. It is not yet known whether this program will be released outside of China.
The move is part of Huawei’s ambitious plan to upgrade its existing devices to HarmonyOS 2.0: by the end of the year, the company plans to transfer more than 300 million devices to HarmonyOS 2.0, including 200 million Huawei and Honor smartphones.
Prices and other details will be announced in a few hours.
