What was missing! Britney’s dad asks for $ 2 million to retire as tutor

Despite the fact that Britney Spears’ father said he agreed to cease being the singer’s legal representative, the guardianship lawsuit continues. The courts have not yet issued a resolution in the case and the lawyers are doing everything so that Britney can finally take control of her life.

Now, in a statement issued by the singer’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, it is said that Mr. Spears is asking for about two million dollars as “a payment to leave.” He still wants more money when he was accused of embezzlement.

The statement hinted that Britney’s father is asking for a kind of “bribe” for returning the singer’s freedom:

Britney Spears will not be blackmailed. Mr. Spears ‘blatant attempt to negotiate suspension and dismissal in exchange for approximately $ 2 million in payments, in addition to the millions that Mr. Spears has already taken from Ms. Spears’ estate, is not negotiable.

James Spears is asking for the money to pay the fees for the lengthy court battle, as $ 500,000 would be used to pay the former administrator and give him “compensation” for the work he did. The rest would be for the lawyers.

Britney’s attorney also called the requests “inappropriate and unacceptable.”

On the other hand, James said he would fight against those who try to force his exit when they have acted looking out for Britney’s interests from his perspective. However, it is not someone strange who wants to take away his guardianship, but his daughter, who for years has fought for her autonomy to make her life as it best suits her.

Unfortunately, the psychological evaluations have not been in her favor because they have been very strenuous and she has been monitored all the time, which does not allow her to answer with total freedom.

The lawyers assured that they will defend their client at any cost and that they will not allow her to continue being intimidated, because Mr. Spears “has no right to try to hold his daughter as if she were a hostage.” At the moment, everyone must wait until September 29 for a hearing, which was previously scheduled, to take place to evaluate the removal and suspension of James as the legal guardian of his daughter.
