The singer Jojo Todynho published a video on social media showing traces of ammunition that fell on his home in Rio de Janeiro this Wednesday (11).

The artist, who is also a law student and digital influencer – with more than 30 million followers – declared in another post that “bullets are flying” in the west zone of the city.

In the video, the singer comments on the requests from her followers who insisted via direct message – a direct and private message on the social network – for her to show the ammunition capsules to the public.

The artist describes the chronological order in which the fragments were found in the residence where she lives, in the west zone of the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Watch the video .


The singer lives between the neighborhoods of Santa Maria and Teixeira, places where conflicts between factions and militiamen are a constant reality. Recently, Santa Maria was one of the neighborhoods involved in Operation Ordo, a mega-operation by the Civil Police with no end date.

This morning, the PM carried out a police operation in Cidade de Deus, also in the west zone, to suppress vehicle thefts.

In another post, Jojo refuted the idea of ​​living elsewhere. According to the singer, she likes living in the West Zone, and downplayed the situation by saying that “my people, my neighbors, I came from Bangu, I’m used to the sound of gunshots,” she declared.
