An excerpt from the documentary series “Forever Paquitas” from Globoplay, has been gaining prominence among internet users since last Tuesday (17).
The recording in question shows a child crying next to several people who were unable to enter the program “Xou da Xuxa”, a show that aired between 1986 and 1992.
“I got here at three in the morning, this can’t happen. They let the guy in and the kids stayed. What Xuxa Show is this? What Xuxa Show is this?”, the little girl shouted during an interview. Watch below.
With the viral video, several celebrities questioned who the girl was and where she was, who was outraged when she was barred from entering the program.
“Where are you?” wrote Junno Andrade, Xuxa Meneghel’s husband, in the publication made by the Hugo Gloss portal. “Master icon”, commented the former paquita Tatiana Maranhão. “Wanted”, joked the actor Dudu Azevedo.
Throughout the day, several people claimed to be the child. Among them was the teacher. Patricia Veloso Martins who, on TikTok, said that she was 9 years old at the time. “This is me… I loved Xuxa so much, it was my dream to go on her show and get a hug.” The video, however, was deleted.
Renata Amorim, Patrícia’s sister, also used the platform to confirm the alleged information. “My sister went viral. Look at the photo of her wearing the same outfit and the same bow on her head,” she wrote in the caption of a video.
In response to a comment, she said that Patrícia will make a video talking about the recording “soon”.
