What’s New on Screens: Check out this week’s premieres in theaters

Brazilian cinemas will please all kinds of tastes starting this week. Films from the most diverse genres, such as romance, horror, drama and action, hit the screens this Thursday (25).

To scare the viewer along with “Evil Twin” and “X – The Mark of Death” the new horror feature film “No! Do not look” It’s one of the big firsts.

The direction and screenplay is by the Oscar winner. Jordan Peele (“Run!” and “Us”), who returns to work with Daniel Kaluuya (“Run!” and “Judas and the Black Messiah”). The film takes place in a city in the interior of California, in the United States, where supernatural events begin to happen.

For romantics, the last installment of the “After” franchise, based on the book series of the same name, is now available. Hardin and Tessa’s story comes to an end after four films.

In addition, it has two Brazilian releases: “O Debate” and “Assalto na Paulista”. The first features a couple of journalists in the midst of personal and professional conflicts during an election; the second portrays a true story of a crime that happened in 2011.

Highlights like “Bullet Train”, “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero”, “The Beast” and more are still playing in theaters.

After – After the Promise

After countless adversities and more mature, Tessa is torn between continuing to try to help Hardin or leaving him for good. Once again, the couple has to overcome difficulties and prove to each other that they want to be together.

Actor Caio Blat’s debut in the direction, the feature follows a couple of journalists who differ opinions on how to conduct the edition of the best moments of an electoral debate that the television channel they work for will broadcast.

Assault on Paulista

Inspired by a true story, the production depicts a robbery at the 0262 branch of Banco Itaú, on Avenida Paulista, organized by a powerful bandit from the countryside of São Paulo alongside his daughter.

Cast: Eriberto Leão, Bianca Bin, Adriano Bolshi
