WhatsApp introduces the ability to create polls in individual chats

As part of the beta testing program, a new version of WhatsApp has been released with the index 2.22.23.12. The application now has the ability to create polls in individual chats. Previously, this feature was only available in group conversations.

As WABetaInfo notes, individual polls work exactly the same as in group chats. Users can add up to 12 response options, and WhatsApp automatically updates poll results. This process is completely encrypted, so no one should see the contents of the survey, not even the developer company.

The ability to create polls in private chats was only available to a limited number of users who installed one of the latest versions of WhatsApp for Android. The feature will roll out to more users in the coming weeks.
