Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia), announced the launch of a new feature in the popular WhatsApp messenger.

According to the source, from today on WhatsApp users will have the so-called Reactions (Reactions). The feature was originally announced on April 14 along with a number of other features that should be available in the coming weeks.

Reactions allow you to quickly reply to WhatsApp messages using emoji. As the developers explain, users will be able to quickly convey their emotions without overloading the chat with new messages. At first, six different emojis are available as “Reactions”: the already familiar “like”, folded hands, a heart and faces – laughing, crying and surprised.
