WhatsApp, the new function to “hide”

After the recent launch of the multi-device for all iOS and Android users, the developer team of WhatsApp now presents a new function probably expected by many and designed to offer us one more solution to protect our privacy.

And so, for those who would like to keep the nuisances at bay, a new option may soon debut in the settings that would prevent only certain contacts with our mobile number from knowing when we connected for the last time, and not only!

We know well that through the Account> Privacy> Last Access section of the WhatsApp settings we can set the profile so that thetime of our last visit is visible to all users, only to the contacts we have in the address book or to no one: however, according to the source, the function under development would allow this information to be shown to all contacts in the address book and at the same time to hide it only from a list of users which we can specify by manually adding them to a list.

Currently known as My contacts except, which can be translated into My contacts except, this option would have already arrived in the devices of some testers and would see it expand for sections as well Info e Profile picture: nevertheless, we do not yet know when and if it will be definitively released in all our devices or put aside. In any case, the suggestion is always to keep the app constantly updated to make sure we receive all the news as soon as they are made available!
