WhatsApp users have been waiting for this feature for over a year: different disappearance times for all new chats

Last November, WhatsApp introduced a disappearing messages feature that automatically deletes chats after 7 days. It took the developers over a year to add additional options to delete posts after 24 hours or 90 days.

Not only that, WhatsApp users will now also be able to turn on disappearing messages by default for all new one-to-one chats. Previously, you had to turn it on manually. And, as soon as you turn on disappearing messages by default, the application will notify your interlocutors about it.
