However, this will change, since, according to the specialized portal WABetaInfo, the version of WhatsApp beta for desktop will have a change and now when a member leaves a chat group, it will only notify the administrator or administrators of the group, preventing the rest of the members from noticing the situation.
WABetaInfo clarified that said update is still under development and although it is being designed for the desktop version, it is likely to reach iOS and Android systems.
