The ability to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices at the same time is something that users have long been asking for. A few months ago, it was reported that the developers started working on adding this feature, but since then there has been no news. Now the profile resource WABetaInfo has revealed some details as to how this will work.
For those who don’t know, the multi-device support feature will allow you to use the same WhatsApp account on four gadgets at the same time. In other words, users will no longer need to open the messenger’s mobile application to use it on other devices, and there is no need to connect the main device to the Internet.
The main device can be disconnected from the Internet for up to two months. The gadgets on which the service account is logged into WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp Desktop and Facebook Portal will be taken into account. The new feature will be released in beta for those users who want to try it, and it will be disabled by default. Voice and video calls will function on all connected devices, but it will not work to call or write to those who have an older version of the messenger installed.
Multi-device support is expected to arrive within two months, but the timing may shift.
