It is already known that Android 13 beta testing ended with the release of the stable version of the system in August. Instead, developers will start testing QPR builds (quarterly small update packages). Google initially reported that the Android 13 QPR development program would run until June 2023, but has now unveiled a new schedule and revealed the release date for the Android 14 beta, according to 9To5Google.
According to the new roadmap, testing of QPR builds of Android 13 will end in March 2023, after which work on beta versions of Android 14 will begin. This is in line with the schedule for this year – Android 13 Beta 1 was released in April. If Google does not change its traditions, the first version of Android 14 for developers (Developer Preview) should be expected in February.
