The next generation Intel NUC mini PC parameters have appeared on the Web. These models will be sold on the market under the names NUC 12 and NUC 12 Pro, and the generation code name is Wall Street Canyon.
The novelty will be based on CPUs from Core i3-1220P to Core i7-1270P, that is, there will be no problems with performance. Also, the mini-PC will receive two slots for DDR4 SODIMM memory, the ability to install two SSDs, and the set of ports will include a pair of Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4, RJ45, USB 3.2 (x3), USB 2.0. From the rest, we can note Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a supposedly more efficient cooling system than in the current generation.
As for the dimensions, they will be approximately 112 x 117 mm. The height will depend on the modification: 41 mm for the SSD-only model and 51 mm for the version where it will be possible to install a 2.5-inch drive.
There is no price data. Current models start at around $900-1000. Given that, apart from a platform change, no major changes are expected, it is likely that Intel will keep prices at the same level.
