It was during the marketing studies at California that the interest of Carol Doher by typically North American sweets was born. The professional left for the United States to improve his knowledge and, in his spare time, he also dedicated himself to cooking courses. Some time later, he landed in Brazil with a business plan in hand.
After 17 years working with fashion, Carol opened, in May 2011, the Condiment Coffee and Bistrowhich has undergone expansions over these more than ten years and occupies one of the busiest streets in the tatuapéa neighborhood in the East Zone of São Paulo.
The charming house has several cozy and instagrammable environments, with details designed by Carol, such as flowers, books, plants and a large kitchen – where the professional gives cooking classes and broadcasts her lives.

Ici Bistro
I’m in love with Ici Bistro since it opened. What strikes me most about chef Benny Novak’s French restaurant is the standard of excellence.
I’ve enjoyed the best steak tartare in town for years and it’s always been the same. The steak frites has a more delicious sauce than the other (poivre, béarnaise, mustard, among others).
And, according to my son, the house in Higienópolis also has the best burger in São Paulo! He has consistently voted Ici the best ever since he first ate it about five years ago.

Bottega Bernacca
THE Bottega Bernacca covers a few units around the city, but I’m still in love with the little house in Jardins. There I feel like in the small restaurants of SoHo, in New York.
The pasta is always al dente, the bolognese is delicious. And I think it’s charming that they bring their dough in a pan, to the table, and serve it on the plate, warm. I love everything: the style, the place and of course the food.

Z Deli Sandwiches
A hamburger shop comes in, a hamburger shop comes out and I keep getting mad at the hamburger Z Delhi. For me, the best we have in São Paulo.
The Minetta Burger, with caramelized onions and English cheddar, I literally eat it with my eyes closed and let that succulence run down my hand – because it does! And the potato? It is a “real potato”, with garlic and rosemary.
Whenever I can, I order at home and I also frequent the tiny and charming unit on Haddock Lobo street. Without a doubt, the best burger.

The Dog Haus
I love chili and I think it’s a perfect combination when placed on the hot dog. the bread of The Dog Haüs is delicate and light, the sausage is thin – I choose the traditional one, but there are other amazing ones. A suggestion: I always ask to put the bacon on top, which in the house is like a crispy farofinha.
The Dog Haüs is a very small place that I discovered with my father in 2013 – and to this day I take my kids when I want to get away for a delicious hot dog at the end of the night.

Olea Mozzarella Bar
THE oil It’s my choice when I want to eat a salad. It’s that place where you define everything you want to put in your salad, your sauce and the type of mozzarella, which comes all mixed up on your plate.
Everything is fresh and there’s also the hot dishes – but I really prefer to stick with the salad. For me, impossible not to repeat the dose.
