Samsung Electronics launched Galaxy Upcycling in 2017. Now the Korean manufacturer has introduced an updated Galaxy Upcycling at Home program for home use.
As the company notes, the new program is rethinking the lifecycle of Galaxy devices and offering consumers options for how they can use old gadgets to create many useful IoT tools.
The program encourages users to adapt old Galaxy smartphones as “new” smart home devices, such as a baby monitor, remote control for home appliances and lighting systems, security systems, even as a smart speaker or fitness tracker, and so on.
