carbon

I am passionate about Italian food and one of my favorite restaurants in life is carbon, which is located in Greenwich Village. The atmosphere is amazing, the service too, and all the dishes are delicious just to look at!

My suggestion is the spicy rigatoni vodka (US$33), an unmissable and traditional dish of the house. To accompany the variety of pasta, I recommend looking at the wine list, which has an extensive variety of labels from the main producers in the world, such as France, Italy and the United States.

It is worth remembering that the restaurant is busy and one of the favorites of celebrities americans. reservations are recommended.

Sarabeth’s

O Sarabeth’s it has that very North American face: it is a restaurant that is at once laid-back and sophisticated. It’s the perfect choice for a brunch full of flavor.

There are some units scattered around the city that are easily accessible. For me, it’s the best way to start the day in New York, especially if it’s in the unit facing Central Park, my favorite. The view is just perfect!

The restaurant is also just steps away from iconic city landmarks such as the Plaza Hotel, Carnegie Hall and the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). Brunch is served on weekends; on weekdays there is breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Lobster Place

O Lobster Place it is definitely a must eat restaurant for anyone who loves lobsters. The dishes are beautiful and very delicious. The space is located inside the Chelsea Market and has a super comfortable environment and a huge variety of seafood to choose from.

Being inside this iconic market, it is worth strolling around to discover other gastronomic points and its various shops.

Nathan’s Famous

To have an experience worthy of an American series, I highly recommend eating a hot dog from Nathan’s Famous. There are several units in the city, so we ended up bumping into some of them during our tours.

Street food may not always be good, but in addition to looking amazing, Nathan’s tastes delicious.

There are three main hot dogs: the traditional one, just bread and sausage; the one with chili and the one that comes with angus beef topping, caramelized onions, sauce and American cheese.

Lombardi’s

It’s another perfect experience to feel in the best American atmosphere: the Lombardi’s It is considered the first pizzeria in the United States, opened in 1905 in the Italian neighborhood of Nolita.

I can already say that the house pizza is very different from what we have in Brazil, but it is still delicious. They are very traditional in production and have several flavors that are worth knowing in addition to the traditional margherita, for example.
