Google released the stable version of the Android 11 operating system on September 8, 2020. Very soon, the platform celebrated its six-month “anniversary”, and Google has already begun to “test” Android 12 on application developers. However, not all smartphones can boast of the received update.

Of course, the Google Pixel smartphones are the fastest to receive updates. But how are other smartphone brands doing?
OnePlus turned out to be the fastest to release updates. The stable version of OxygenOS 11 for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro was released 32 days after the release of Android 11. That’s slightly longer than the 18 days for Android 10 in 2019, but also a great result.

OnePlus sister company Oppo has released the stable Color OS 11 update 56 days after the OS was released, starting with the Oppo Find X2 family of smartphones.
Xiaomi has started updating Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro to Android 11 62 days after the OS release. In 2020, Xiaomi set a kind of record for the speed of release of updates – in 2019, it took the manufacturer 122 days to release a stable version of Android 10, and when Android 7 Nougat was launched, the company took 200 days.
Realme started updating Realme X50 Pro 87 days after the release of Android 11. Samsung – 95 days later, Galaxy Note20 and Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra were pioneers. Sony spent 97 days before the release of Android 11 for the Sony Xperia 1 II. And the Asus Zenfone 6 model started updating to Android 11 112 days after the OS release.
LG Velvet got stable Android 11 144 days later, Motorola also released Android 11 for Moto G Pro 144 days later. Nokia smartphones started updating to Android 11 after 147 days from the Nokia 8.3 and this happened as recently as February 2, 2021.
