Which Oscar films are still in theaters?

The 96th Oscar ceremony is on Sunday (10). Most of the titles competing for Hollywood's main awards have already arrived in Brazil. Some are available on streaming, others were shown in theaters, but some are still showing on the big screen.

For those who want to stay up to date with the awards and still eat some popcorn, the CNN listed the films competing for the Oscar that are still showing. See below.

  • Poor Creatures – Best Film, Direction, Actress, Supporting Actor, Adapted Screenplay, Photography, Hair and Makeup, Production Design, Editing and Original Soundtrack

Young Bella Baxter is brought back to life by scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter. Wanting to see more of the world, she runs away with a lawyer and travels across continents. Free from the prejudices of her time, Bella demands equality and liberation.

Nazi family, Rudolf Höss, the commander in Auschwitz, and his wife Hedwig, inenjoy in a seemingly bucolic life in a house with a garden next to the countryside in concentration.

  • The Boy and the Crane – Best Animated Film

Mahito Maki suffers a painful family tragedy during World War II and must immediately move to the countryside, where his father works for a family that makes planes for the Japanese army. Isolated, Mahito begins to explore the mysterious landscapes and encounters a gray heron that the boy frequently sees.

  • Perfect Days – Best International Film

A middle-aged man lives a modest and serene life, spending his days balancing his work as the dutiful caretaker of Tokyo's numerous public toilets with his passion for music, literature and photography.

  • I, Captain – Best International Film

Two Senegalese teenagers, Seydou and Moussa, leave Dakar and head to Europe. The journey, however, is full of obstacles that, among other things, show the worst in the world, dehumanizing the two boys.

  • Teachers' Room – Best International Film

Carla Nowak is a sports and mathematics teacher who stands out for her idealistic profile within the educational system. In her new job at high school, one of her students is suspected of carrying out robberies, and now Carla decides to get deeper into the matter.
