Overdue main pension applications are included in the final settlement and payment line.
According to the last (14th) enhanced monitoring report by the Commissionthe deadline for clearing the outstanding main pensions is moved to two months later.
That is, instead of the current month, they should have been cleared by August.
Its sources Capital.gr by competent executives of the funds report during the period June – July 2022 the applications of 2019 -2020 will be cleared, while in August 2022 the applications of 2021 will be cleared.
It is noted that this plan applies to applications concerning an insurance fund (ie only IKA, only OAEE etc.) and successive insurance (eg first IKA and then OAEE or first IKA and then Public, etc.).
That is, it does not concern the applications for parallel insurance pensions (eg IKA and at the same time OAEE etc.), but neither the international pensions.
According to the report of the Commission, the cost of repaying overdue pensions from one fund or successive insurance in March 2022 amounted to 200 million euros.
However, according to the report of the “Atlas” system for the same month (March 2022) estimates the cost of repaying outstanding pensions at 179 million euros, the reason for 78,173 applications.
Fund executives say a percentage of pending applications will not go ahead. Already as it turns out from the data of “Atlanta” for the first quarter of 202227% of the applications were either rejected or the case in which they concerned was closed without a decision.
This is a record percentage for the last four years. If this trend continues in the coming months, out of the 78,173 applications, they will proceed normally, ie they will lead to the issuance of a final pension close to 57,000.
