Whindersson is discharged after being hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic

The influencer and comedian Whindersson Nunes 30, was discharged after being hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic in late February this year.

He published a selfie taken in the elevator, making faces and mouths into the mirror, in good mood, and wrote in the caption: “Lili sang.”

The information that the comedian hosted the Psychiatric Clinic on February 21 was confirmed by Non Stop, a company that manages his career.

“Non Stop Produções Artístico, an office responsible for the career management of Whindersson Nunes, reports that the humorist interned, by his own decision and with proper medical follow -up, in a psychiatric clinic in the interior of São Paulo, last week,” says the company’s official statement.

“The reason for interaction is care for your health, seeking the proper treatment for your well-being. Always concerned about your fans and the public, Whindersson has made this decision aiming at the full care of his health. He is very well, happy with his evolution and soon will be back on stage doing what he loves most,” he continues.

“We thank everyone for their understanding and emphasizes that privacy and respect are fundamental at this time,” he concludes.

Whindersson Nunes is opened on his mental health struggles, especially depression. In several interviews, he revealed that he has experienced difficult times, including crises of anxiety and deep depression.

Solitude and pressure to always be on the rise on social networks were factors that contributed to their emotional state. In 2018, the comedian took a career break to treat and seek psychological support, sharing his journey with fans, which helped demystify the idea that famous people don’t face emotional problems.

Over the years, Whindersson has used his platform to talk about the importance of taking care of mental health, encouraging others to seek help.
