The comedy “Whiskey on the Rocks “, a series set at the height of the Cold War, received its first trailer. In Brazil, the production premieres on Disney+ in January 22, 2025 .
Check out the synopsis: In 1981, the world was on the brink of one of the biggest global conflicts of the Cold War, after the Soviet submarine U-137 ran aground in the Karlskrona archipelago, in Sweden. This seemingly trivial incident placed enormous pressure on the Swedish Prime Minister, Thorbjörn Fälldin who found himself at the center of a delicate situation.
Now, he was tasked with managing a major diplomatic crisis, balancing international tensions while trying to avoid a major confrontation, with the world closely watching developments.
“Whiskey on the Rocks” stars Rolf Lassgård , Elsa Saisio , Anders Mossling , Niklas Engdahl , Philip Berg , Adam Lundgren , Kęstutis Stasys Jakštas and Mark Noble star. The title is one of the first original Swedish productions made for Disney+.
