White House commits to publicize Trump exam results

Donald Trump was submitted to the first physical examination of his second term on Friday (11), and the White House promised to publicize the complete results of the politician who, in January, became the oldest person to assume the presidency of the United States.

Trump, who turns 79 in June and likes fast food so much that she did a photo shoot at a McDonald’s during her campaign last year, spent hours being poked by Walter Reed Medical Center doctors in Bethesda, Maryland.

“I never felt so good, but even so, these things need to be done!”

Trump wrote in a post on the Truth social platform on Monday, announcing the planned exam.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the White House will provide an update on the examination performed by the president’s doctor as soon as possible. In the past, Trump released few details about his health.

“He is being subjected to various tests and image exams. Once again, it is an annual physical examination, so there is a lot involved,” she said, adding that there was no prediction that Trump would receive general anesthesia as part of the exam.

Physical examination can offer the first clear view of Trump’s condition since his ear has been hit by a bullet in an attempted murder during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last July.

His campaign released a report by Ronny Jackson, a former Trump doctor at the White House and Republican Congressman of Texas, saying the injuries were superficial.

Usually, the White House determines which data will be released from the president’s health exam. Trump is not required to disclose any information, and there is no model for the presidential exam. Trump released only limited information about his health during his presidential campaigns.

During the 2024 election, Trump drew clear contrasts with his predecessor, Joe Biden, now 82, claiming he was younger and fit.

In 2018, when Trump was fulfilled his first term, a White House doctor said the president had excellent overall health, but needed to lose weight and start a daily exercise routine.

Trump included a cognitive examination, the cognitive assessment of Montreal, as part of his physical examination during his first term, and his doctor later said that he got 30 points in 30.

Biden released detailed summaries of his physical exams while in office, but several books published in recent months have raised doubts about their mental acuity in their last months at the White House.

The mental capacity and age of Biden and Trump were focused during last year’s election campaign, especially after Biden’s disastrous performance in a June debate in June, and increasingly confused speeches from Trump in rallies.
