WHITE: the success of the new edition

The curtain has fallen on the February edition of WHITE, an international exhibition and showcase for contemporary fashion and an aggregator hub of brands ready to make themselves known to the general public. An edition that has seen well 18,850 visitors and 24% more buyers than last September, the result of a radical transformation of its strategy and communication.

In addition to an increasingly careful and selected research of the brands representative of the trends that will, in fact, WHITE | Sign Of The Times enriched the format with talks, workshops and training moments, increasing the attractiveness of international buyers.

The event, for the first time, hosted WSM – White Sustainable Milan, the Fashion Tech project entirely dedicated to the sustainable production chain and new technologies to support the ecological and technological transition of SMEs. The event, with the artistic direction of Massimiliano Bizziwas also realized thanks to the support of MAECI and ICE Agency, with the contribution of the Lombardy Region and the patronage of the Municipality. “It is time to look carefully at the new objectives aimed at decarbonisation, supporting the companies of the productive fabric of our country. I am proud to be Italian and to be able to give my contribution in such an important moment for this country which represents the second in Europe for manufacturing and the first in fashion. It is a priority to support companies in the supply chain that are constantly working to find new technologies in order to reduce emissions. The objective of this Ministry is to build a shared path with companies, to support them, but above all to accompany them in this important process of responsible innovation “, declared the State Secretary of the Ministry of Ecological Transition Vannia Gava in visit to WHITE.

An event, the one that ended, characterized by significant planning, fueled and supported by three transversal partnerships that have recognized themselves in the objective of communicating a value system aimed at sustainability and the circular economy: BMW Sustainable Mobility Partner, Scalapay Innovative FinTech Partner and Brandart Sustainable Packaging Partner.

Numerous events and installations in the exclusive locations of the Mudec – Museum of Cultures, House of BMW and in the area dedicated to WHITE Casa have fueled this edition as an interdisciplinary platform in which the creativity of emerging talents, established brands and strategic partners have merged in a common celebration of art and fashion.
