The operational restructuring at the level of persons and individual departments within AB Vassilopoulos is in full progress, with significant changes in the management of the chain, which was referred to in a related publication early today on Capital.gr.
According to secure information under Jesper Lauridsen, Chief Operations Officer of Ahold Delhaize in the Southeast Europe region, which includes the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Greece and who until the new brand president, Nikos Lavidas, takes office, remains at the head of the chain’s management, will be the following:
HZeta Heimonidou, until now vice president of Marketing and Strategy, now assumes duties in the new Digital & Technology department that is being created, to which the existing IT Demand arm will also be subordinated. Also, Olga Michalopoulou takes over as head of marketing at AB Vasilopoulos and joins the management team.
Spyros Grigoriadis, vice president in the Business Development sector, also recently left, whose teams are being absorbed into another department. One department will now be subordinate to the financial department and the other to the store operations department.
Who remain
From the existing management team, Dimitris Artikopoulos maintains his duties as vice president in the human resources and organizational function department, Eleni Providis remains head of the legal department as vice president legal affairs and Sofocles Giannakou also maintains his position as head of financial director of the company, with the duties of senior vice president Finance. As for Kalle Becker, SVP Operations & Supply Chain and Kees Rusius, SVP Commerce, they also retain their duties on the management team.

An official written notification to all the staff of AB Vasilopoulos is imminent during the day, as so far the relevant announcements have been communicated orally to all interested parties and their groups.
We remind you that all the new faces will soon be under the management of the new brand president of AB Vassilopoulos, Nikos Lavidas, who will officially assume his duties on August 20.
