Madonna's most recent relationship was with boxing trainer Josh Popper. The two confirmed their relationship on Instagram in February 2023.
Since then, they have shared recordings in the fighting rings of the gym where Josh teaches and he was chosen as a guest for the performance of “Vogue”, on stage at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, New York. With more than 10,000 people watching, the couple held up scorecards as the dancers performed sensual moves and danced on a catwalk.
At each show on “The Celebration Tour”, Madonna received a different person when she sang the song. Names like Salma Hayek, Cardi B, Ricky Martin and Kylie Minogue have been there.
Josh Popper is 30 years old and is from New Jersey, a US state neighboring New York, where he has a gym called Bredwinners. He was the winner of the Ring Masters tournament in the heavyweight category, a competition that took place at Madison Square Garden.
Before his boxing career, Popper ventured into American football. Madonna's boyfriend played for Rowan University in New Jersey; and, after college, he attended the Arizona Cardinals minicamp in 2016. He also played for the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, but neither invitation paid off.
