Luiz has a formation in medicine from the University of Ribeirão Preto (Unaerp), with a class from 2011. He also attended postgraduate degree in sports medicine at BWS College, with the class of 2023.

Larissa’s body was found by her husband on the morning of March 22 in the couple’s apartment, located in the Jardim Botanico neighborhood, south of Ribeirão Preto, interior of São Paulo.
The participation of doctor Luiz Antonio Garnica became evident to the police for the way he found Larissa’s body, already in cadaverous stiffness, and for his attempt to clean the apartment after finding her dead, played as an action to hide proof of expertise.
In addition, a witness reported to the police that, about 15 days before death, Larissa’s mother -in -law was looking for “chumbinho” to buy.
Another point that raised suspicions was the mother’s first statement. Initially, she reported that Larissa would have invited her to talk the night before death, as both had recently lost relatives. However, the investigation and other evidence collected by the police indicated that this meeting did not occur.
Given the evidence, police requested and obtained the custody of Luiz Antonio Garnica and his mother. During the investigations, cell phones were seized, which will now be analyzed to identify the motivation of the crime.
In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) reported that the mentioned case is investigated through police inquiry established by the 3rd Deic Homicide Police Station of Dein 3.
