A man, identified as Lourivaldo Ferreira Silva Nepomuceno, 35, died on the morning of Tuesday (6) as he was pressed between the train door and the safety door of the Campo Limpo station platform, on line 5-lilac Metro, located in the south of São Paulo. An expertise should be performed to investigate the causes of the accident.
At the time of the accident, around 8 am, he was going to work. In an interview with CNN his father, Lourivaldo dos Santos Nepomuceno, remembered the moments with his son and said that the two would have a barbecue on the 23rd, to celebrate their birthday, as the victim would be 36 years old on Sunday (11), shortly before his father, who will turn 62.

Lourivaldo worked as a repositor in a supermarket and would graduate in physical education later this year. He lived in Taboão da Serra, in Greater SP.
In an official note, the viamobility, the concessionaire responsible for the operation of line 5-lilac, lamented the death. (see full below)
Still according to the victim’s father, he does not understand how his son was stuck, and believes there was a failure, as he was a very active person and used to riding a subway.
He leaves his wife, three children, two young and one older, 17.
Cousin was in the same station
Cecília Nepomuceno gave testimony on Tuesday at Delpom, Metropolitan Police Station, which is investigating the case.
She said she was at the station with a friend, when she heard the noise of the accident and the people screaming, but only then did she find out that the victim was her cousin.
Her friend, Rogério Evangelista, also gave testimony. He said that people were crying, desperate and saw the blood on the glass.
He said witnesses said they did not hear the noise of the door security sensors.
