The singer Marília Mendonça died, victim of a plane crash in Minas Gerais, was accompanied by four other people, who also died.
They were the singer’s uncle and advisor, Abicieli Silveira Dias Filho; and producer Henrique Ribeiro.
Earlier in the evening, the pilot was identified as Geraldo Martins de Medeiros and the copilot was identified as Tarciso Pessoa Viana.
Ribeiro, also known as Henrique Bahia, was also a producer for singer Cristiano Araújo, who died in a car accident in June 2015.
On his social media profile, Ribeiro published a video in which he talks with Marília just before boarding the plane that would crash. He jokes about what she was carrying in the big red suitcase.
In a post published on the six-year anniversary of Cristiano Araújo’s death, Ribeiro published a photo with the artist’s production team, talking about how he missed the singer.
