The model searches websites for relevant information about the characters and writes a Wikipedia-style draft, complete with quotes. The voices generated by artificial intelligence could be a starting point for people who write content for Wikipedia and for fact-checkers.
The next step is to identify other people underrepresented in Wikipedia, in addition to women’s groups, such as transgender or non-binary people, for which there are forms of prejudice that also affect the sources of information online (for example an imbalance between the story of their personal life and the social, political or cultural goals achieved).
A long and ambitious work, therefore, what is looming for Angela Fan, but also an important cultural milestone for Meta, in the sign ofinclusiveness.
